Executive Producer — Russell Sanzgiri
Russell Sanzgiri is known for producing short form projects such as FRAGILE.COM for AT&T Hello Lab’s Mentorship Program executive produced by Lena Waithe and the horror film, SWIPED TO DEATH, for Hulu and the Sundance Institute premiering at the 2019 Beyond Fest. Russell produced Netflix’s critically acclaimed comedy special MICHAEL BOLTON’S BIG SEXY VALENTINE’S DAY SPECIAL with SNL’s The Lonely Island and Comedy Bang Bang. Russell began his career assisting Spike Jonze’s producing partner on the critically-acclaimed feature film WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE and short films such as I’M HERE, starring Andrew Garfield, HIGGLETY PIGGLETY POP, featuring the voices of Meryl Streep and Forrest Whittaker, and the band Arcade Fire’s short film SCENES FROM THE SUBURBS (2010 Berlin FF & SXSW). Most recently, Sanzgiri served as an Executive Producer on the documentary feature film CHANGING THE GAME about transgender high school athletes, which premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and won audience awards for Best Documentary Feature at both Frameline and Outfest Film Festivals and will be released Summer 2021.
